SHIEAK TZENG MD PhD

Co-founder & Co-CEO

An experienced leader with 15 years of experience working in the intersection between medicine and engineering. As a former doctor and scientist, Shieak is dedicated to advancing healthcare through deep-tech R&D and commercialization. Along with his interests in technology, Shieak is passionate about the science and art of human capability development.

As Co-CEO, Shieak drives Wellumio's vision, business culture, and organizational resilience.

SERGEI OBRUCHKOV PhD

Co-founder & Co-CEO

Medical physicist with a passion for nuclear magnetic resonance. Sergei completed his PhD at McMaster University working with Sentinel Medical building breast coils for MRI. As a Mitacs Accelerate fellow, he worked with Tonado Medical becoming migrating to New Zealand to work with Sir Paul Callaghan. As Co-CEO Sergei is the force behind Wellumio's technical execution.

GYAN BARIK

Executive Director

Gyan is a business executive with a background in science, computing, and business management. With over 20 years of operational experience, he has led multiple technology-based companies, driving product development, launch, and operations across diverse technical domains. Gyan's expertise spans Telehealth, Medical Devices, and Intervention Management Systems. As Executive Director, Gyan leads Wellmio's Australian operations.
